Low Protein Christmas Stuffing Balls

Ingredients

1 x packet of 100g Promin Low Protein Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix

2x 30g packet of Promin Low Protein Apple and Sage Sausage Mix

1 x teaspoon Garlic Purée 

1 x teaspoon Cranberry Sauce 

10-20g Promin Low Protein Breadcrumbs

Oil 


Method

  1. Add the 300ml of water to the sage and onion stuffing mix and stir with a fork. Add the cranberry sauce and the garlic purée.
  2. Once mixed, stir in both packets of sausage mix, only add more water if required. You want the mixture to be quite thick so you can roll out the balls. If this consistency is not achieved once set, gradually add breadcrumbs to allow the mixture to become slightly thicker.
  3. Once combined roll into equal sized balls and place in an oiled pan over a medium heat. 
  4. Once they have begun to brown, and sear place in the oven for a further 10 minutes at 200 degrees to allow them to finish cooking.
  5. Garnish with your choice of herbs and serve with your Christmas dinner or fantastic as a dipping snack with gravy!
